Fellow residents of Mayfield, it has come to my attention that our town is overrun with evil. The Gouma... they have hidden themselves amongst our kind with hopes of capturing us as their hosts. But fear not, for it is my mission as the Holy Warrior to find and defeat them.

Here me, Gouma of Mayfield, I will cleanse this town of your darkness!

[Slugger has ingested a sweet candy corn and is now patrolling the streets wearing a helmet, bed-sheet cape, and roller skates in search of evil entities he refers to as gouma. His "superpowers" allow him to see the aura of everyone he encounters and he will react according to the color of that individual's aura.

A) You are glowing red -- you are a GOUMA -- and his task is to defeat you with his "holy sword", oh wretched one.

B) You are glowing yellow. It is his duty to protect you, innocent villager.

C) You are glowing blue, the color of princesses and magical sages, and he shall serve and protect you like the holy knight that he is.]

[For the moment, Pokey has just taken to watching shit happen over town, left hand stuffed in his pocket. Smile constantly on his face. This crap is just too funny.]

[A seemingly random drone is passing by, not far from where Pokey happens to be standing, when there is a sudden flurry of movement and sound. A flash of red, blue, and gold speeds by with a dull note of ringing metal and the drone falls face-down onto the ground.

TARGET OBLITERATED.

The Holy Warrior returns to stand beside the unconscious body, ~~bat~~ sword held skyward and cape billowing. He has yet to turn and notice Pokey.]

[....What?

Well, you're not...too different, he guesses. He'll just raise an eyebrow at that.]

Yeah.

You show that drone who's boss.

[Is that the voice of... It is! The Great Child Sage.

Lowering his weapon, he spins to face the child of knowledge and kneels.]

Do not be fooled, Great One. The gouma are clever to hide within the most ordinary of civilians.

Well yes, it's about time you realized just how great I am! Think I like that!

[He raises his glass, then drinks. Clearly, this is the HOLIEST OF MILKS.]

[She giggles sweetly at the bow.]

It's never too late to start healthy drinking habits!

[Finishing it, he returns the glass and drops to one knee.]

I am forever indebted to you, Goddess of Sustenance.

[He extends a gloved hand to her, hoping to accept her hand.]

[She plops her hand into his, cocking her head toward her shoulder as her foot rises slightly behind her]

Tee hee! It's no trouble at all! Just looking out for the citizens of Mayfield!

[...That red glow. No. It can't be! The gouma have gotten Miss Susan! But no matter how horrible the circumstances, a Holy Warrior must always be strong. Time to get on his game-face and ready his sword.]

Evil gouma... [Raising his weapon, he moves forward.]

Release Miss Susan!

I'd have done that already if I could. I'm not staying in this town for the free candy.

[He brandishes his sword mightily in hopes of frightening the gouma out of her; he doesn't want to attack Susan if there's a chance he can avoid it. (His bat knocks a clock from the wall and topples a lamp. Yes, he honestly believes there is an evil entity hiding within Susan that is holding her captive and torturing her.)]

Now show your true face, monster. Or are you a coward?

The only thing I'm afraid of is what it will cost to replace the things you break. Where did you get a sword, anyway?

[Spotting the hellish glow from afar, the Holy Warrior approaches with caution. Upon closer inspection, it is evident that there are strange twinkly lights interspersed within her aura.

This... this is worse than he thought. But he is the Holy Warrior and he is prepared to do whatever he must.]

[twinkle twinkle, apathetic stare]

[Without getting too close, he crouches nearby, hand at the hilt of his ~~bat~~ sword. A killer?]

Princess Parsee!

[Truly, even a warrior's heart cannot remain unaffected by such a tragic sight.]

A killer you are not. You are the Princess of Holy Light! It's the gouma that's making you hurt like this. Do not succumb to its darkness!
